What to expect
first visit
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by one of the doctors and shown around the office so you can feel at home in the space. We’ll spend one-on-one time discussing your health history, what brought you in, and what your goals are for care. You’ll then receive a chiropractic examination, a nervous system assessment, and your first adjustment.
There’s nothing you need to bring— just wear comfortable clothes and come as you are.
before you arrive
Ahead of your first visit, you will receive an email with a link to our online intake form. We ask that this form be completed prior to your appointment so our doctors have the opportunity to review your health history before meeting you. If multiple family members are receiving care, each person will need to complete their own intake form.
When you submit the form, you’ll be asked to securely store your credit card information. Please note: you will not be charged at this time.
second visit
By your second visit, you’re officially part of the Cocoon Chiropractic family! We’ll begin by checking in and discussing any changes you’ve noticed after your first adjustment. From there, the doctor will perform an assessment and provide an adjustment based on your current needs. Together, you’ll review the doctor’s recommendations and schedule your ongoing visit frequency to best support your goals and care plan.

This approach allows us to provide care that is truly individualized, without limitations set by insurance companies. We offer accessible membership plans for individuals and families, and we also accept HSA/FSA cards. If you have questions about payment options, we’re always happy to help so please reach out.

Not at all! While we specialize in pregnancy and pediatric care, we support entire families including partners, siblings, grandparents, and anyone seeking gentle, nervous system-focused chiropractic care. If you're in a season of transformation, healing, or simply want to feel more ease in your body, you are welcome here.
-
Yes, absolutely. Pediatric chiropractic care is incredibly gentle and specifically adapted to your child’s age and development, even for newborns. We use light, sustained pressure— often no more than the touch you’d use to check the ripeness of a peach. Many parents notice improvements in sleep, digestion, latch, mobility, and overall comfort after care. We're always happy to walk you through what to expect and answer any questions you may have.
-
As soon as you're ready. Many families bring their newborns in within the first week or two to support healthy nervous system regulation, feeding, and digestion. For postpartum parents, care can begin as soon as you feel ready. We’ll always meet you where you are with gentleness and flexibility.
